you need to edit the install script on king's original rom had this problem yesterday. What I did was i just deleted the first 2 lines as they caused problems... i'm going to try changing it to hero though

ok so i added || getprop("ro.product.device") == "hero" || getprop("ro.build.product") == "hero" to the second line and it seems to be working... in all honesty i don't quite understand what that does but it seems to be working i'll upload the single file port for you if you want

ok wifi gave me a unable to scan error... restarting and retesting... and would still like to know which kernel you're using
